Ingredients

  • Kale or chard, cleaned and chopped

  • 1/4 cup of seeds or nuts, such as pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cashews or other nuts

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2-3 cloves garlic

  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper

  • Basil leaves

  • Optional: green beans, frozen peas, or other greens

Directions

  • Saute greens in 1 tbsp olive oil until fully wilted, then set aside to cool.
  • Blend seeds/nuts with garlic in food processor, then drizzle in 3 tbsp olive oil and blend until smooth.
  • Add greens, Parmesan, salt, and basil, then blend until smooth.
  • Cook pasta, reserving some cooking water, then mix together.
